Anthony began his career as an investment and insurance advisor in 1986, after a chance encounter sparked an interest in the industry. This interest became a passion, and by 1990, Anthony was heading up his own company, The Ciccone Group. Over the years, Anthony has solidified his reputation as a leader in his field, with a personal and professional mandate to build long term trusted relationships with clients, based upon sound advice.
In 2004, Anthony formed Ciccone / McKay Financial Group with his now retired partner, Gerry McKay. Building upon the success and growth of Ciccone McKay, and realizing a need existed within the industry, Anthony expanded his company in 2010 to include a subsidiary firm specializing in employee benefits, the Immix Group.
A lifelong resident of Vancouver, Anthony and his family are active participants in the community. Anthony sits on the board of directors for the Michael Cuccione Foundation, the Lovison Family Memorial Scholarship and has been a member of the Vancouver Golf Club for over 15 years.
Lindsay has worked since 2004 as an advisor in the insurance and investment planning industry. At Ciccone/McKay, Lindsay oversees business operations, focusing on long term planning, sales and marketing initiatives and employee development.
At Ciccone McKay’s sister company, the Immix Group, Lindsay’s focus is on partnering with business owners and benefit plan administrators to design, implement and manage cost effective, comprehensive benefit programs.
Working with companies of all sizes in a variety of industries, Lindsay specializes in helping our clients to find a balance between the needs of the employees and the financial considerations of the business.
Lindsay is an alumni of the University of British Columbia, and now lives in False Creek. She is licensed by the Insurance Council of BC and through the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a Certified Financial Planner.
Sabrina graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009. Prior to joining Ciccone/McKay Sabrina worked in the mutual fund industry as a client relations representative in Toronto, ON. After several years in Montreal and Toronto, Sabrina is happy to be back in her home province of BC and currently lives in Squamish.
She joined the Ciccone/McKay team in 2012 as executive assistant and marketing assistant. Sabrina works closely with Anthony as an Investment and Insurance Specialist with a focus on developing, implementing and managing balanced financial portfolios to help clients meet their objectives.
She is currently registered to sell mutual funds and is licensed with the Insurance Council of BC and through the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a Certified Financial Planner.
Steven Bicego graduated from the Sauder School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 2009. Prior to joining Ciccone/McKay, Steven worked as an advisor at one of the largest insurance company’s in Canada, providing insurance and investment solutions to clients.
As a Financial Advisor at Ciccone/McKay, Steven works both with personal and corporate clients providing them with financial clarity and purpose. His focus is building long-term trusted relationships with new and existing clients that is based on sound financial advice.
Steven is actively involved in his community and is a member of the Vancouver Marpole Lions Club. He sits on the board of directors for a non-profit housing society, providing affordable living for seniors. In addition, he sits on the board of directors for various public companies.
In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and hockey, and experiencing the beautiful wonders of British Columbia with his family and friends.
He is registered to offer mutual funds and is licensed with the Insurance Council of BC. He is currently working towards completing his CFP designation.
Tore comes to the Ciccone/McKay team as a recent graduate from Simon Fraser University, attaining his Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Economics.
Prior to joining the team, Tore pursued a football career that led him to being selected in the 2014 CFL draft to the Toronto Argonauts.
After the conclusion of his football career, Tore began his professional career in the financial industry by working for TD bank as a Financial Service Representative.
Tore is also currently registered to sell mutual funds, and works closely with Sabrina, as an Insurance and Investment Analyst with an aim at reviewing existing portfolios.
Tore, in addition to this, also conducts research and preparation that may assist the team in providing balanced portfolios that are tailored specific to our clients.
Andrea joined Ciccone/McKay in 2014 as a marketing assistant after several years working in residential real estate. She brings to our team her experience interacting closely with clients, and ensuring they are well-informed.
Andrea now works with Ciccone McKay's sister company, the Immix Group, as Employee Benefits Coordinator where her focus is on providing service support and assistance to our group benefits plan administrators and plan members. Andrea is licensed through the Insurance Council of British Columbia.
Helene has recently joined Ciccone/McKay as our new Insurance and Investment Coordinator. Helene is originally from France and moved to Canada in 2012. She loves travelling and enjoys the beauty of our nature and mountains.
She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor Degree specializing in business and marketing from Dijon University, in France, before being licensed with the Insurance Council of BC in 2016.
Helene is passionate and dedicated in helping deliver an excellent customer experience; she will gladly assist you with any inquiries. She is also in charge of communication with our suppliers, and ensuring the smooth operations of our office.
Asha Reeves is a CPA, CGA with over 15 years of accounting and finance experience. Prior to working with the Ciccone McKay Group and raising a young family, she was the Controller at Boston Pizza International Inc. for 6 years.
At Ciccone/McKay, Asha works closely with Anthony Ciccone to provide timely financial reporting and analysis to ensure continued strategic and long-term growth for the Company.
Asha holds a Bachelor of Arts from UBC and has been a member of the Certified General Accountants Association (now CPA) since 2003.
Peter Howard-Jones began his career with Manulife Financial in 1973, shortly after emigrating to Vancouver from London, England. In 1994, he founded Howard-Jones Insurance Services Inc, a full service financial services organization.
Today, Peter works with both personal and corporate clients to help them obtain their financial goals. His primary focus is on business owners and senior executives, providing them with estate planning and retirement income planning. In addition to this, Peter manages a large corporate clientele of employee benefit plans. Peter is dedicated to providing exceptional service to his clients, and has earned the recognition of the his industry peers. He is a Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, with Top of the Table and Court of the Table Membership, a member of Advocis, as well as the recipient of the National Quality Award each year since 1974. He is a recognized Five Star Master Builder with Manulife Financial.
In 2008, Peter joined forces with Ciccone/ McKay Financial Group in order to provide his group benefits clients with comprehensive, ongoing service.
Gil Korn of the firm Korn Law is a specialist in the area of Tax and Estate Planning with vast experience in both personal and corporate income tax matters, including trusts and partnerships, in both the domestic and international areas. He has covered much of the spectrum of business succession and estate planning over the years.
He is an independent lawyer that we work with on some high level clients.
Having studied law and business at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Gil gained admission to the B.C. Bar in August of 1996. Gil has co-authored articles that have been published in the prestigious Canadian Tax Journal, including feature submissions dealing with inter-spousal transfers of property, and employee stock options. His writings have also appeared in the Financial Post, British Columbia Chartered Accounts magazine "Beyond Numbers", and the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriters' publication "CALU Report".
Gil enjoys his community service which has included sitting as a board member of two local charities, and tutoring the Indepth Tax course run by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is an avid runner and is forever trying to break his personal best marathon time.
Dan began his insurance and estate planning career in 1973 . Over the years where he has worked from coast to coast in Canada Dan has become recognized as a leader in advanced estate planning case work.
From the beginning of his years at a major insurer, Dan has continued to build on his expertise in both client situation analysis and case presentation allowing a large number of advisors and their clients to reach optimal financial outcomes.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Dan has a degree and experience both in Drama, from Brock University and Education, from St. Mary’s. From a professional perspective he has earned his CLU, CHF.C. and CFP, and is a regular speaker to professional groups.
