Role overview

Summary of role

Use your knowledge and experience in the financial services industry to provide advisor, client and operational support, timely and accurate processing of new business applications and exceptional client servicing. Develop solid and lasting relationships with supplier partners, clients and team members.

Experience & Education Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in financial services administration
  • Licensed through Insurance Council of BC with LLQP
  • Degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel etc.) and CRM systems
  • Technologically savvy, with ability to use and learn various software and applications as required

Administrative Support

  • Handle administrative and operational tasks related to client accounts
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Client Onboarding and Support

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients

Client Communication

  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of information to clients

Operational Efficiency

  • Ensure that all client-related processes are executed efficiently and accurately
  • Support the implementation of the client’s financial plan

Documentation and Reporting

  • Prepare and manage client documentation and reports
  • Assist in preparing regular updates and reports for clients

Interpersonal Development

  • Know key contacts and apply appropriate protocols when communicating with these key people
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers, case coordinators, and underwriters
  • Working collaboratively with staff and communicating openly
  • Developing relationships with Ciccone McKay / Immix Group staff
  • Meeting personal and professional expectations and requirements
  • Proactively ensure deadlines are established and met
